Join us for light bites, wine, and conversation with local artist Robert Brennan: painter, poet, observer.
From the sugar maples and winter fields surrounding his Easton studio to abstract, improvisational works, Brennan moves fluidly between landscape and imagination, guided by what he calls “The Restless Eye.”
A graduate of Columbia University (Painting & Printmaking), his work has been exhibited throughout Connecticut and New York City and earned First Prize in the Art of the Northeast USA Exhibition. In 2024, he published his first book of poetry, From the Deck.
Celebrate this multi-dimensional artist whose elegant and at times delightfully quirky brush invites us to see the world anew. His website, The Restless Eye, reflects his belief that creativity is inherently multi-dimensional. Brennan’s paintings capture the magic and subtle character of our unique corner of the world, interpreted through a lens that is sometimes refined, sometimes whimsical, and always deeply personal.
